Historical Cinematic Look Converters for Premiere Pro
Modular Adobe UXP extensions that manipulate Premiere's native Lumetri Color effect in real time via ExtendScript orchestration. Experience zero-delay timeline grading for 1950s (Technicolor, VistaVision, CinemaScope) and 1980s (Panavision, Ultracam, Neon) cinematic formats.

Timeless v1.0.0
Timeless Architecture Overview Manifest v4
The Timeless plugin utilizes Adobe UXP Manifest v4 targeting Premiere Pro (PPRO) versions 22.0 through 99.0. It uses Adobe Spectrum Web Components (<sp-dropdown>, <sp-menu>, <sp-button>) for clean native rendering inside Premiere Pro's workspace.
Modular ES6 config with 1950s (CinemaScope & VistaVision) and 1980s film matrices.
Zero-render property injection querying app.project.activeSequence and QE DOM.
Historical Profile Breakdown
ChronosLook v1.0.0
ChronosLook Converter Architecture Manifest v5
ChronosLook introduces extended mathematical mappings including film fade pedestals, micro-contrast acutance, anamorphic vignetting, and full multi-lingual property aliases.
Includes dedicated Format Base presets for CinemaScope (2.35:1) and VistaVision (1.85:1 8-perf).
Simulates anamorphic oval falloff and halated toe chemical lift without external LUT dependencies.
Zero-Render Lumetri Color Orchestration Layer
Instead of exporting intermediate frames or baking destructive 3D LUTs, the ExtendScript orchestration engine interacts natively with Premiere Pro's timeline track items, resolving Lumetri properties directly in real-time.
Queries app.project.activeSequence.videoTracks and scans track items to isolate user-selected clips (clip.isSelected === true).
If the target clip does not have a Lumetri Color component, it invokes app.enableQE() and applies the effect via qeClip.addVideoEffect(...) dynamically.
Maps Temperature, Tint, Saturation, and Contrast using getParamForDisplayName() with fallback traversal and calls .setValue(val, 1).
Core ExtendScript Property Mapping Signature
// index.jsx: Resilient property mutation with UI keyframe notification
function mapValueToParam(props, paramKey, value) {
if (typeof value === "undefined" || value === null) return false;
var aliases = PARAMETER_ALIASES[paramKey] || [paramKey];
var param = locateParam(props, aliases);
if (param && typeof param.setValue === "function") {
// (value, 1) triggers real-time playback refresh without re-rendering
param.setValue(Number(value), 1);
return true;
}
return false;
}
